The Horbury Property Services team worked closely with the Paragon Asra client team to deliver this successful contract against the backdrop of a continually changing approach to Fire Safety following the Grenfell Tragedy. Using our extensive supply chain and industry knowledge we were able to advise and guide PA Housing to ensure they remained compliant with the RRO (Fire Safety) 2005 as well as providing bespoke installation solutions.

Resident access was a challenge; our internal planning and support team supported the client by calling and send letters to customers to support efforts by PA Housing.

Our bespoke Fire Safety software system was used to provide photographic evidence of all works completed, which formed part of the H&S file for each completed scheme of works.

Our local preferred suppliers provided specialist support for active fire safety systems, working with scheme managers to design and install fire detection systems to fully comply with BS 5839: Parts 1 & 6

PA Housing stock forms a mixture of old and modern buildings, ranging from converted terraced housing to purpose built sheltered schemes with full on-site support facilities. Our engineers had to work in a variety of sensitive and diverse environments, with many residents being classed as vulnerable.
