Today we welcomed Dennis from FIRAS to our site in Birkenhead to undertake an inspection for Composite Fire Door accreditaion.
Under the watchful eye of Dennis, Danny, James and Meshach had to remove and renew a composite fire door and ensure it was fitted correctly to the manufacturers instructions and BS 8214: Fire door assemblies. All this was carried out in a residents home in a fully live environment!
If that wasn't enough the team had to complete technical exams to ensure they held the knowledge as well as the skills when it comes to fire door installation.
The addition of this new scope of works and two further FIRAS supervisors and a technician further strengthens our passive fire team and enables us to provide multiple options to our growing client list.
Horbury Property Services are now FIRAS accredited for:

- Fire Door Repair and Maintenance
- Penetration Sealing
- Composite Fire Doors
